His Majesty directs authorities to develop Wakan Village

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday issued instructions to set a timeframe for the development of Al Jabal Al Abyad area and the village of Wakan with the prime aim of providing basic infrastructure and appropriate conditions to make use of the areas’ potential and their tourism landmarks.

Wakan Village in Jabal Akhtar is located around 160km from Muscat and draws tourists from all over the globe.
