Muscat: Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and Peking University discussed on Tuesday ways of cooperation and exchange of expertise in the academic and health fields, research and education.
The meeting between the two sides aimed to acquaint with the health services and the medical facilities offered by the two sides along with the discussion on ways of the future cooperation between the two universities.
The meeting was attended by Her Highness Dr. Mona bint Fahd Al Said Assistant Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University for International Cooperation and Dr. Qiao Jie, Executive Vice President of Beijing University and Chairperson of Beijing Centre for Health Sciences and a delegation from Beijing University, a number of academics and officials from the Sultan Qaboos University and health establishments in the Sultanate of Oman.
Dr. Mona bint Fahd Al Said Assistant Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University for International Cooperation said that the Sultan Qaboos University accords due efforts for boosting international partnerships.
The meeting comes within cooperation for development of the fields of knowledge, research and education, she added.
