Muscat: The “Oman Crafts” exhibition was opened at the Oman Across Ages Museum in the Wilayat of Manah in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, which is organised by the management of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority and will last for three days.
The exhibition, in which 30 entrepreneurs and craftsmen from various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman participate, includes many corners and crafts, in addition to training sessions in pottery and clay making for children, and traditional musical performances.
The exhibition aims to enhance the Authority’s efforts to raise the level of Omani craft industries of various types, provide all forms of support to Omani craftsmen, highlight the talents of craftsmen and entrepreneurs and their products, and establish mechanisms to develop and protect crafts, in addition to providing innovative craft products.
The inauguration was sponsored by Her Excellency Halima bint Rashid Al Zaria, Chairwoman of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority.
