UNESCO Aflaj Studies Chair implements projects to promote Omani falaj system

The UNESCO Chair for Aflaj Studies at the University of Nizwa, A’Dakhiliyah Governorate, conducted a set of studies and research projects that identified common difficulties faced by aflaj (centuries’-old irrigation system) in the Sultanate of Oman and proposed solutions to address the challenges.
