Heavy rainfall forecast across several parts of Oman

Muscat: Oman Meteorology issued a warning of heavy rain ‎expected today, concentrated on the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah, Muscat, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, and Al Dhahirah.

According to the last update issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology, clouds continue to flow over the northern governorates, and scattered rainfall over parts of the governorates of South Al Batinah, North Al Batinah, Muscat, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, and North Al Sharqiyah. Low clouds form over parts of the South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar governorates.

No visibility on Haima Road
There was almost no visibility and dust accumulation on Haima Road towards the northern Governorates on Saturday. The Royal Oman Police called on motorists to be careful.
