Muscat: Oman Business Forum, in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, will organise the second trade dialogues on Tuesday for supporting Omani companies in the second phase.

The event, which will be organised at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, aims to raise awareness and exchange views on the economic gardening.

A number of representatives of the government sector and the private sector will take part in the event.

Mymouna bint Sulaiman Al Adwi, Director of the Office of Oman Business Forum and in partnership with the private sector at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, said that the economic gardening supports phase two companies through provision of basic market information and the digital marketing strategies which help the companies to grow.

She said that the economic gardening could contribute to the efforts of economic diversification in the Sultanate of Oman through empowerment of the local companies that have the potentials to expand and provide job opportunities.

The second session will discuss the strategies of economic greening that have proved to be supportive to the growth of second phase local companies.

The second phase companies, re-defined as the firms that have already between 10 and 99 employees and with an annual revenue between $1 and $50 million, are all set for expansion and growth and play a key role in local economies.

Trade dialogue sessions focus on the efforts aimed to boost the sustainable economic practices in Oman.
