Doha: The Sultanate of Oman took part in activities of the 3rd edition of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, hosted by the State of Qatar in Doha.
Oman was represented during the forum by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs and Dr. Saleh Said Masn, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry.
The forum aimed to press ahead with political coordination and consultation between Arab countries and countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan. It also targeted boosting cooperation in economic, cultural and social fields, in addition to activating partnerships and initiatives between the two sides.
Oman’s delegation comprised Abdullah Nasser Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sayyid Ammar Abdullah Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar and several officials from the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
