National coach Mayar Al-Badri completes international coaching course in Hungary

Muscat: Mayar Al-Badri, a national coach with Oman Handball Association, has successfully completed the international coaching course organised by the Hungarian University of Sports Science in collaboration with the International Olympic Solidarity in Budapest. The course took place from April 1 to May 30, 2024.

This course is part of the programmes supported by International Olympic Solidarity to support technical staff.

The course witnessed wide participation of technical experts from various countries around the world in different sports disciplines.

The course included theoretical lectures and practical applications on general adaptation, sports injuries, ethics in sports, sports science, biomechanics in sports, sports sociology, physiological training, sports management, sports psychology, sports nutrition, and sports theories.

Oman Olympic Committee, through the Olympic Solidarity Department, has offered several training and qualification programmes as part of the 2021/2024 solidarity plan. These opportunities are made available via the Olympic Solidarity platform on the Oman Olympic Committee's website to support the system of national coaches.
