Oman Across Ages Museum launches 'Damek Wasel' campaign

Muscat : Coinciding with the Khareef season in Dhofar Governorate, the Oman Across Ages Museum has launched the 'Damek Wasel' campaign.

The 'Damek Wasel' campaign began on Monday at the Oman Across Ages Museum in its second edition, coinciding with the Khareef season in the Dhofar Governorate to make the museum an essential destination for visitors heading to Dhofar Governorate.

The campaign aims to enhance the museum’s presence on the map of local and international tourist destinations during this season.

The campaign includes broadcasting many publications on the museum’s social media platforms and other marketing means to enhance the historic and cultural awareness of visitors and learn about the history of the Sultanate of Oman, the ancient eras and the ongoing achievements it has witnessed, in addition to the abundant nature and geographical diversity God has given to the country.

This entire process is done in an interactive manner using the latest technologies in museum display.

The campaign also includes various applications and marketing methods in multiple locations inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman, using language and messages that suit and support its approach to ensure reaching the target audience.

It is noteworthy that the first version of the campaign, which was launched in August of last year, achieved remarkable results over this period. The number of visitors to the museum in August 2023 reached more than 77,000.
