DBBS urges people to donate blood

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has made an urgent appeal to people with O (-ve) blood type to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

DBBS said in a statement :"We appeal to those with blood type "O - " to rush to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar. There are critical medical cases in dire need of blood transfusion. Hurry up and donate blood as soon as possible if your blood type is O -. "

"Blood donation hours at the Central Blood Bank (Baushar) are from Saturday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. For inquiries or to book an appointment to donate blood, please contact WhatsApp at 94555648, " the statement added.
