Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office, received in his office here on Monday Dr. Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed various aspects of cooperation to serve the common interests of the their countries. The meeting also dealt with current issues on the regional and international arenas. The two ministers underscored the importance of garnering diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East region.
They emphasised the deep-rooted historical relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Sultanate of Oman.
