Oman opens bids for water taxi service development

Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT) has announced an investment bid (2025/1) to develop, manage, and operate a water taxi service in the Sultanate of Oman. This initiative aims to improve transportation infrastructure and introduce innovative water-based mobility solutions.

The bid is open to both local and international companies and investors. Interested parties can purchase bid documents between February 9 and February 23, 2025, for a fee of OMR 150. The deadline for bid submissions is April 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Payments for bid documents should be made to Bank Muscat account number 0325001361300017.
