Temperatures drop in many parts of Oman

Muscat: As winter arrives, many regions in Oman are experiencing a notable drop in temperatures. Some areas have recorded temperatures below 1°Celsius early this morning.

According to Abdullah Al-Shehhi, a resident of the mountain area "Al-Say" in the Wilayat of Khasab, Musandam Governorate, the temperature reached 0.9°C.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has recorded temperatures across various locations in Oman during the last 24 hours. As of Saturday, January 4, 2025, Saiq recorded a temperature of 3.1°C, followed by Muqshin 4.0°C, Al-Mazyouna 5.6°C, Thumrait 7.0°C, Mahdha 7.8°C, and Yanqul 8.3°C.

These temperatures have been collected from the CAA's meteorological stations and highlight the current cold weather conditions affecting different regions of the country.
