Muscat: The Oman Meteorological Department has issued an initial forecast indicating that a trough of low pressure will affect the Sultanate of Oman from Sunday, February, 2, 2025. This weather system is expected to bring clouds and scattered rain to the governorates of Musandam and North Al Batinah, as well as parts of the coastal areas along the Sea of Oman.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, cloud formation is anticipated over parts of the Hajar Mountains, with chances of scattered rainfall. The Meteorological Department advises the public to take necessary precautions to mitigate any potential adverse weather impacts.
