HM's greetings conveyed to Algerian President by OIA Chairman

Algiers: President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, received at the presidential premises in the Algerian capital on Tuesday, Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA).

This meeting comes on the sidelines of the official visit made by an official Omani delegation to Algeria to explore prospects for cooperation in the economic and investment fields between the two countries.

During the meeting, OIA Chairman conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik along with best wishes of continued health and happiness to the Algerian President, and the Algerian people further progress and prosperity.

For his part, the Algerian President asked OIA Chairman to convey his greetings and wishes of permanent health and wellbeing to His Majesty the Sultan, and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

During the meeting, the existing areas of cooperation and the efforts made to enhance them were lauded, as well as the keenness of the leaderships of the two countries to push them towards broader horizons in various spheres was underlined.

The delegation included Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and a number of CEOs of companies affiliated with Oman Investment Authority (OIA).
