Foreign Minister, Iranian counterpart discuss regional, international developments

Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister received in his office today Dr.Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, the two ministers explored means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments.

In light of current developments, the two ministers underscored the importance of preparing the conditions that support diplomatic solutions and using channels of dialogue and peaceful means to tackle issues and deescalate tensions.

The meeting was attended by officials from both sides.
