Bangladesh's new ambassador assures cooperation to social club

Muscat: The newly appointed Bangladesh Ambassador to Oman has assured the Bangladesh Social Club of all cooperation for the benefit of the community.

Recently, the Chairman of Bangladesh Social Club in Oman, Sirajul Haque and Vice Chairman Azimul Haque Babul, met the newly appointed Ambassador of Bangladesh to Oman, Rear Admiral Khondaker Misbah ul Azim, and extended greetings on behalf of the social club.

During the meeting, various issues related to the interests of the Bangladesh community in Oman were discussed. Since the social club is an organisation approved by the Omani government, the establishment of a non-political organisation for all members of the community is the responsibility of all expatriates.

The club representatives presented detailed information about the opportunities and status of the expatriates and the social, cultural and economic position of the Bangladesh community in Oman. The Bangladeshi community is unparalleled in terms of socialisation and human welfare. Bangladesh and Oman play a leading role in the development of culture and traditions of both countries, which attracts the attention of locals.

During the conversation, various activities and future plans of the social club were presented before the new ambassador. At the same time, they highlighted the problems faced by the expatriates and sought cooperation of the embassy in resolving these problems.

The ambassador has assured to extend cooperation for the wellbeing of the community.
