Oman gets 9-day Eid holidays

Muscat: Holidays for Eid Al-Fitr 1446 AH, which began on Saturday, 29 March 2025, will end on Thursday, 4th Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to 3rd April 2025.

However, due to the weekend, official working hours will resume on Sunday, 6th April 2025, leading to a 9-day holiday for the public and private sectors in the Sultanate.

Authorities on Saturday announced that Monday, 31 March 2025 would be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr after the crescent moon could not be sighted.
