Bausher: The people of Bausher in Muscat Governorate, held a reception on Monday morning as the royal motorcade of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik moved towards the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers for the year 1446 AH.
They expressed their joy and happiness, repeating expressions of loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan, the leader of the renewed Renaissance. His Majesty greeted people and welcomed them back in appreciation of their sincere feelings and warm welcome.
A popular celebration, "Bausher Rejoices," was held in the square of the Wilayat of Bausher to celebrate the royal honour. Traditional arts groups from the wilayat participated in the celebration, and patriotic songs and anthems were performed.
The participation included varied traditional arts, including a national poetry evening in which a number of poets participated, and horse shows presented by a group of knights.
The event was sponsored by Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Wali of Bausher, and attended by a number of Their Excellencies the members of the Shura Council in the Wilayat, members of the Municipal Council, and a group of citizens and residents.
