Foreign Minister receives phone call from UAE Deputy Premier

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received a phone call from Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During the call, the latest developments on the regional scene were discussed, particularly the talks hosted by the Sultanate of Oman between the United States of America (USA) and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed the deep appreciation of the UAE for the positive role and wise endeavors undertaken by the Sultanate of Oman. He values its constructive efforts aimed at fostering a climate conducive to understanding and building confidence among the parties, in a way that enhances security and peace in the region and the world at large.

For his part, Sayyid Badr appreciated the UAE’s keenness to support the conciliation and peace efforts pursued by the Sultanate of Oman to strengthen the pillars of regional and global security, stability, and peace.
