Muscat: The 7th edition of Oman International Food Safety and Quality Conference will kick off on Monday, 21 April 2025 at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).
Themed "Towards Resilient and Adaptive Food Systems", the 3-day conference will be organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources. It will be held on the sidelines of the Food Safety Week.
The conference will be attended by experts and specialists from the Sultanate of Oman and 32 countries. It will explore ways to use modern technology in finding innovative solutions to enhance food safety and quality, discover food processing fraud and determine food authenticity.
Such standard measures contribute to protecting consumer health, enhancing confidence in products released in markets and diminishing the volume of food waste. They also reflect positively on the national economy.
