Muscat :The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the decision to create the Position of Vice President of the State of Palestine
The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the decision of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization to create the position of Vice President of the Executive Committee of the State of Palestine and the appointment of His Excellency Hussein Al-Sheikh to this position.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign today, the Sultanate of Oman congratulated His Excellency on his new duties and wished him success. It expressed its hope that this would strengthen Palestinian unity and serve their legitimate aspirations, foremost among which is the attainment of all their rights and the establishment of an independent state.
