Muscat: The summer season is here and how! The mercury crossed the 47° Celsius-mark on Monday.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the highest temperature recorded in the Sultanate of Oman in the last 24 hours was a sweltering 47.6°C in Sohar.
Sohar was followed by Suwaiq (46.5° Celsius), Shinas (45.8° Celsius).
