Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, stressing the importance of this step in calming tensions and enhancing regional security and stability.
The foreign ministry expressed hope that this agreement will mark the beginning of a constructive dialogue between the two sides, leading to the settlement of disputes through peaceful means, serving the interests of both peoples and supporting efforts for peace and sustainable development.
