Oman welcomes US President’s announcement to lift sanctions on Syria

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the announcement of President Donald Trump of the United States of America regarding the lifting of US sanctions on the Syrian Arab Republic—a step that enables the Syrian government and people to achieve development and prosperity.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman commended the efforts of all Arab and friendly countries in promoting stability, which supports the political and economic recovery of Syria.
