Muscat: Dar Al-Atta’a Association has been awarded the ISO 26000 certification for social responsibility in recognition of its commitment to institutional development, governance best practices, and compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
The certification follows a rigorous review and auditing process of the association’s systems, along with specialized training programs to enhance staff capabilities in applying global principles of social responsibility.
The accreditation serves as international recognition of the association’s adherence to humanitarian values, transparency, and its active contribution to sustainable development through charitable and social programs that address the needs of diverse community segments.
The qualification process involved a detailed review of operational procedures to ensure alignment with the ISO 26000 framework, which focuses on key pillars such as non-profit governance, human rights and equality, fair labour practices, and community engagement and development.
