OCCI to organise 3 business forums

Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will organise three business forums - the Omani–Thai Business Forum, the Omani–Pakistani Business Forum and the Omani-Estonian Business Forum, besides an orientation meeting at the Omani Commercial Office in the USA.

These activities come within the efforts of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry for boosting its strategic move aimed at improving the business environment and to expand the base of economic diversification in consistent with Oman Vision 2040.

The first forum will kickstart, tomorrow, with the Omani–Thai Business Forum aimed at enhancement of commercial and investment cooperation between Oman and Thailand.

The form represents a platform for acquainting the Omani companies and the private sector with the opportunities available in the Thai market.

It also aims to explore ways of establishing trade and investment partnerships besides the discussion on the challenges and exchange of expertise between the entrepreneurs of both the countries.

The OCCI will organise the Omani–Pakistani Business Forum on Tuesday.

The forum aims to boost the joint projects, and investment and trade exchange between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, mainly the projects that support economic diversification in the two countries.

The OCCI, represented by the Omani Commercial Office in the USA will organise on Wednesday an orientation meeting which reviews the vital role of the office and the mechanisms for the support of the Omani companies to enter into the US market and to boost the commercial and investment partnerships between the two countries.
