Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA ) announced its approval for Iraqi Airways to operate scheduled flights to Muscat International Airport,effective from 6th , 2025.
The decision reflects the CAA’s efforts to strengthen air connectivity between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Iraq.
It also sims to boost passenger traffic while fostering economic and tourism cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
CAA emphisised that the launch of this air route reflects its regulatory role in facilitating air transport and enhancing its services, thereby strengthening the Sultanate of Oman’s rank as a regional hub for air transport and logistics.
