Over 6,000 people from 120 countries to attend Belt and Road Summit in Hong Kong

Hong Kong: More than 6,000 people from 120 countries will be participating at the milestone 10th edition of the Belt and Road Summit being held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The event, being held on September 10 and September 11, is set to ride on its achievements of the past decade while creating new collaborative opportunities for governments and businesses to capitalise on the development of the Belt and Road Initiative (B&RI).

“The event is being jointly organised by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) under the theme of ‘Collaborate for Change - Shape a Shared Future’, said Lau Hui ping, Patrick, Deputy Executive Director, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

“This year's Summit is welcoming more than 90 high-level government officials and business leaders from Belt and Road countries and regions, he further added. 

The Summit gathers senior government officials and business leaders to exchange insights on multilateral co-operation and explore concrete business opportunities.
