New York: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister today met, separately, with Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Mohamed Mbae, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Union of the Comoros, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Osman Saleh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Eritrea and Battsetseg Batmunkh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
During the meetings, the friendship and cooperation with these countries were reviewed, as well as ways to develop them in the economic, investment, educational, cultural, and scientific fields.
They also exchanged views on regional and international issues and emphasized the importance of enhancing consultation and coordination in multilateral forums, which would contribute to supporting security, stability, and peace and serving common interests.
The meetings were attended by a number of officials from both sides.
