Frankfurt: The Sultanate of Oman has concluded its participation in Frankfurt International Book Fair 2025, held in the Federal Republic of Germany during 15-19 October.

Oman's pavilion attracted a diverse stream of visitors, serving to introduce the components of Omani culture and showcasing a wide range of publications and materials focusing on Omani cultural, literary, and social affairs, particularly those highlighting Oman's heritage and its intellectual and literary contributions.

Dr. Iyas Nasser, a Palestinian poet and researcher of classical Arabic poetry, praised the diversity of publications included in Oman's pavilion, describing them as "extremely precious literary and intellectual publications and productions that enrich Arab libraries and culture."

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Bouvard, a French book editor and publisher, pointed out that Oman possesses a unique characteristic that distinguishes it from other countries, due to its preservation of its ancient roots and authentic heritage. He noted that the Omani people are always welcoming to others, making a visit to Oman a unique and different experience.

Lisa Marshall, an employee at the International Court of Justice, mentioned that everyone she knows who has visited Oman praised its unique cultural diversity and the positive impression these visits left. She expressed her eagerness to learn about various Omani publications, believing they would contribute to broadening her perspectives in reading.

Dr. Ulysses Lagrimas, an American writer and author, said that his experience visiting Oman's pavilion left a profound impact on him and a positive impression of Omani culture and the warm reception Omanis extend to others. He expressed his hope to visit Oman and learn about its culture by interacting with people and observing their social life.

This year's participation by Oman included an introduction to the "Ayn" platform for digital content, audiobooks, and visual books, reaffirming the diversity and richness characteristic of Omani life and the significant attention Oman pays to its cultural heritage and its preservation, driven by a belief in the importance of instilling the concept of culture and developing societal awareness and understanding.

The participation also highlighted a wide range of Omani publications in historical, literary, scientific, media, and tourism fields, alongside publications focusing on social aspects, wildlife, and the environment, as well as specialized books on historical sites and adventure tourism in Oman.
