Former Muscat girl wins third runner-up at Miss Teen Universe 2025

Muscat: Carrisaa Bopanna Ammatanda, a 19-year-old fashion design student of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Bengaluru, India, has achieved international recognition by securing the third runner-up title at the Miss Teen Universe 2025 pageant held in the western Indian city of Jaipur recently.

Representing India on the global stage, Carrisaa impressed judges and audiences with her poise, grace, and confidence. A former student of Indian School Al Ghubra in Muscat, Carrisaa’s early years in Oman shaped her into a culturally versatile and confident young woman.

Currently pursuing her studies at the NIFT, Bengaluru, the girl from Coorg, Karnataka, earned the crown of Miss Teen Universe India in 2024, which gave her the opportunity to represent her country internationally.

The pageant spanned 10 days, including a preliminary round on October 17 and a grand finale on October 18. Throughout the event, Carrisaa demonstrated intelligence, elegance, and a deep sense of purpose, culminating in her crowning as third runner-up.

Her achievement has been celebrated warmly by the Indian expatriate community in Oman, her family friends, and those who watched her journey with pride and admiration.
