The Sultanate of Oman is proudly participating this year in the MENA Nations Karting Cup, held at the Lusail Karting Circuit in Qatar from October 21 to 25, 2025. The event brings together more than 150 drivers representing 18 countries from across the Middle East and North Africa region.
Oman is represented by 13 drivers competing across various categories, carrying the nation’s flag in one of the region’s most prominent karting championships. The event is organized under the supervision of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and supported by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).
The championship features a wide range of race categories, providing an ideal platform for showcasing emerging talents in the sport of karting.
The participation of the Omani team comes as part of the Oman Automobile Association’s ongoing efforts to support and develop karting in the Sultanate, empowering young Omani drivers to take part in regional and international competitions to gain valuable experience and exposure to global standards.
The Oman Automobile Association emphasized that the participation of 13 Omani drivers in this major regional event represents an important step toward strengthening Oman’s presence on the regional karting map and an opportunity to highlight promising national talents while raising Oman’s name in international competitions.
