Muscat: The Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested an individual of Arab nationality for stealing jewellery and valuable items from a house in Muttrah.
The police were able to seize some of the stolen goods and cash proceeds from the sale of stolen items. Legal procedures are being completed against him.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Research apprehended an individual for stealing mobile phones and electronic devices from one of the shopping centres in the Al-Seeb Governorate. Legal procedures against him are being completed.
As part of efforts to combat infiltration, the Police Command in the Governorate of Musandam apprehended 18 individuals of Asian nationality for entering the country illegally. Legal proceedings are being completed against them.
