
Samail: The Al Dakhiliyah Governorate revealed development and service projects being implemented in the Wilayat of Samail with a total cost exceeding OMR60 million. This was announced during the fifth edition of the “In the Governor’s Hospitality” forum, held on Wednesday in the Wilayat of Samail, as part of the Governorate’s efforts to enhance comprehensive development and improve quality of life in various sectors.
The forum, held under the title “Communication and Shared Visions”, aimed to discuss ongoing and future projects, local development priorities, and to strengthen the partnership between government agencies, the private sector, and the local community to achieve the goals of Oman Vision 2040.
Sheikh Hilal bin Said Al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, said the forum represents a dialogue platform that brings together officials and citizens in a framework of constructive communication to follow up on the progress of projects and discuss challenges.
He noted that the Governorate attaches great importance to involving the community in formulating development plans to contribute to balanced and sustainable development.
He added that the Governorate is working to enhance integration between the public and private sectors and encourage investment in service, tourism, and urban fields, stressing that the field meetings organized by the Governorate contribute to evaluating development projects and monitoring the efficiency of their implementation.
