Two Arab nationals held with counterfeit currency

Muscat: The Al Buraimi Governorate Police Command arrested two persons of Arab nationality for possessing counterfeit Gulf currency and exchanging it with Omani rial.

They were using the currency for payment at petrol stations and commercial stores and got back the remaining amount in local currency.

Legal procedures against them are being taken.
