HM the Sultan gives audience to Secretary of Russian Security Council

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Baraka Palace today to Sergey Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Security Council.

During the audience, the guest conveyed greetings and best wishes of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people. On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan asked the guest to convey his greetings and best wishes to President Putin and the Russian people.

The audience discussed areas of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation in the security and military spheres, besides reviewing paths of the joint cooperation in a manner that boosts efforts aimed at maintaining regional security and stability. It also touched on a set of issues of mutual concern.

The audience was attended by Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office.
