Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said will preside over the laying of the foundation stone for the ‘Jood’ project at Sultan Haitham City and the ‘Yamal’ city in Al Al Manuma on Monday, in a step that reflects the attractiveness of the Sultanate of Oman as a promising regional centre for urban investment.
The implementation of the two projects comes towards strengthening investment partnerships and expanding the presence of international companies in the Omani market, reflecting the growing confidence of global investors in the real estate sector.
This trend is linked to the priorities of Oman Vision 2040, which places economic diversification and financial sustainability at the forefront of its axes, in addition to empowering the private sector to lead urban development, expanding the base of quality investments, and stimulating the construction sector through organised urban projects that raise the efficiency of non-oil growth and enhance the position of the real estate sector as one of the sectors supporting the national economy.
Their implementation also comes as an extension of the development agreement that was signed last May on the sidelines of the launch of the Oman Real Estate Conference and Exhibition and the Design and Construction Week in its twentieth edition, with an investment value exceeding OMR1.7 billion.
The ‘Jood’ and ‘Yamal’ projects represent a landmark in the urban development journey in the Sultanate of Oman, due to the comprehensive economic and social impact they achieve, through creating direct and indirect job opportunities, and enhancing investment in the real estate sector through high-quality projects.
This partnership embodies the Sultanate of Oman’s ability to attract quality investments and value-added capital through projects that achieve tangible economic and social outcomes and confirms that its horizons are open to the world in terms of investment opportunities and urban development, based on smart urban planning, a long-term economic vision, and a regulatory environment that encourages real transformation towards the future, through partnerships that reflect trust, commitment, and shared growth between the state and global investors.
On Tuesday, Talaat Moustafa Group, the developer of the two projects, in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, will launch sales of the Jood project in Sultan Haitham City and the Yamal coastal city in Al-Al Manuma. The Jood project offers an integrated residential community that includes diverse units, green spaces, service, commercial, recreational, medical and educational facilities, in addition to social and sports facilities.
In contrast, the Yamal City project is an integrated tourist and residential community that provides a world-class marina, water sports, hotels and various services, and residential units overlooking the sea and marina.
