Muscat: — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik returned home this evening, arriving from the Kingdom of Bahrain after participating, alongside the GCC Leaders and their representatives, in the 46th GCC Summit and the GCC-Italian Summit, which concluded their proceedings today in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
His Majesty the Sultan has sent a cable of thanks to the King of Bahrain. In the cable, His Majesty expressed his sincere appreciation to the King for the warm welcome and reception extended to His Majesty and his accompanying delegation during the summit.
His Majesty lauded the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of the King in enhancing the march of joint Gulf action and advancing it towards further partnership, mutual support and solidarity, fulfilling the goals and aspirations of the GCC peoples.
His Majesty was accompanied during the participation by a high-ranking official delegation.
