2025 Cohort Graduation at UTAS–Al Musannah and Rustaq College of Education

The University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Al Musannah Branch, together with the Rustaq College of Education, has finalized all preparations for the graduation ceremony of the Class of 2025. The event will take place on Wednesday, 10 December, at the Rustaq Sports Complex in South Al Batinah Governorate, where 837 graduates will be honored—590 from UTAS–Al Musannah and 247 from Rustaq College of Education.

The ceremony will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Dr. Faris bin Turki Al Said, with the presence of H.E. Dr. Said bin Hamed Al Rubaie, Vice-Chancellor of UTAS, alongside members of the State Council, officials from North and South Al Batinah, and families of the graduates.

Dr. Nasser bin Salem Al Bimani, Assistant Vice-Chancellor for UTAS–Al Musannah, stated that the ceremony will feature graduates from the Colleges of Engineering & Technology, Economics & Business Administration, and Computing & Information Sciences, in addition to students from Rustaq College of Education specializing in Science, Mathematics, and English. The degrees awarded include Bachelor’s, Advanced Diploma, and Diploma.

Dr. Al Bimani added that this year’s graduates reflect the strength of the academic programs offered by the university and its ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills aligned with labor-market needs. He emphasized that the graduates represent a valuable contribution to various national sectors, equipped with competencies that keep pace with rapid technological developments and support Oman’s development goals.

The main organizing committee confirmed full readiness following a series of meetings to review event logistics, approve the ceremony program, and coordinate accompanying media coverage to ensure a presentation befitting the students’ academic journey.

Dr. Sarah bint Mohammed Al Bahlani, Dean of Rustaq College of Education, praised the efforts of all committees involved, noting that this ceremony marks a significant milestone in the students’ academic paths and reflects the knowledge and skills they have gained to confidently join the workforce across their respective fields.
