His Majesty hosts an official dinner in honour of Lebanese President

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted an official dinner at Al Alam Palace guesthouse today, in honour of President General Joseph Aoun of the Lebanese Republic and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The official dinner was attended by some Royal family members, ministers, undersecretaries, senior military commanders, ambassadors of Arab and friendly countries accredited to the Sultanate of Oman, as well as several officials.

Prior to the dinner, His Majesty the Sultan exchanged orders and commemorative gifts with the Lebanese President.

His Majesty conferred Oman Military Order “First Class” on the Lebanese President, while the President awarded His Majesty the Sultan the “National Order of the Cedar, Grand Collar Rank,” which is the highest medal in the Lebanese Republic.
