Asian expat held with drugs in Bausher

Muscat: An Asian national was arrested in the Wilayat of Bausher by the Directorate General for Combatting Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, alongside the Directorate General for Customs, following the detection and tracking of a suspicious package coming from a European country.

The suspect was apprehended while receiving prohibited items through one of the shipping companies. The seized items included a water pump in which some quantity of cocaine was concealed for trafficking and consumption. Legal proceedings are being completed against the suspect.
