Muscat: The Arab Shooting Championship 2025 is set to commence tomorrow, Saturday, in Muscat under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth.
Organised by the Oman Shooting Association, the championship will take place at the National Olympic Shooting Complex in Muscat from December 20 to 25. The event will feature 144 male and female shooters representing 14 Arab countries, competing in rifle and air gun disciplines.
The championship aims to strengthen Arab sports cooperation, support the development of shooting sports across the region, and foster the exchange of technical expertise. It also seeks to enhance the skills of participating athletes and elevate the overall performance and readiness of national teams.
