Oman reaffirms its support for unity, sovereignty of Somalia

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman is closely following developments related to the unity and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, the Sultanate of Oman affirmed its support for Somalia's sovereignty and territorial unity, stressing the importance of respecting the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and refraining from any unilateral actions that may affect the unity or internationally recognized sovereignty of nations.
