Ja'alan Bani Bu Hassan: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism signed a contract with Ja'alan Development Company for the management, operation, and utilization of "Ja'alan Bani Bu Hassan Fort" in the Wilayat of Ja'alan Bani Bu Hassan in South A’Sharqiyah Governorate.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism by Eng. Ibrahim Said Al Kharousi, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Heritage. Meanwhile, it was signed on behalf of the company by the Chairman of the company's Board of Directors.
The signing of this agreement aims to leverage cultural heritage and its contribution to economic growth, as Ja'alan Bani Bu Hassan Fort represents one of the most important historical landmarks in the governorate, carrying significant cultural and heritage value.
The project will contribute to stimulating tourism activity by attracting visitors from within and outside the Sultanate of Oman. Furthermore, it presents an opportunity to enhance the role of the private sector in managing and operating heritage sites.
The project will also provide multiple investment opportunities encompassing tourism and cultural activities, entertainment events, craft exhibitions, in addition to generating direct and indirect job opportunities for the local community.
