
New Delhi: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister met on Saturday with Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, on the sidelines of the second session of the Ministerial Meeting of the Arab-Indian Cooperation Forum, held in New Delhi.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and discussed ways to enhance and expand cooperation across various areas of mutual interest, particularly in the economic, trade and investment sectors, as well as in the fields of energy, transport and logistics services, in order to serve the shared interests of both countries.
The two ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern. They underscored the importance of continued coordination and consultation, strengthening dialogue and diplomacy, supporting efforts to reduce regional escalation and avert the risks of conflict, enhancing security and stability, and advancing regional and international cooperation in a manner that promotes sustainable development.
