Oman facilitates return of citizens amid regional developments

Muscat: In light of ongoing developments in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has facilitated the return of a number of Omani citizens to the Sultanate through land border crossings, in coordination with relevant authorities in Oman and their counterparts in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.

The ministry stated that the arrangements were carried out in an organized manner to ensure the safety of citizens and the smooth movement of returnees. The effort comes as part of Oman’s ongoing commitment to facilitating the return of its nationals abroad whenever necessary.

Officials affirmed that the ministry continues to closely monitor the situation of Omani citizens overseas and stands ready to take all necessary measures in response to emerging developments to safeguard their security and well-being.
