Muscat: The Sultan Qaboos University Earthquake Monitoring Center has recorded a light earthquake in the Arabian Gulf measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale.
According to the center, the tremor occurred at 1:10 a.m. local time on March 3, 2026. The epicenter was located in the Arabian Gulf, approximately 304 kilometers northwest of Khasab.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers.
