Tehran:Israeli and American strikes targeted an oil depot in Tehran today, marking the first attack on oil infrastructure in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The official IRNA news agency reported that an oil depot in southern Tehran was targeted by the United States and Israel, explaining that it is located in an area adjacent to an oil refinery.
Air strikes hit another oil depot northwest of Tehran, according to Agence France-Presse news agency, which reported that flames and plumes of smoke rose from the site.
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched violent air strikes against Iran, igniting the current war in the Middle East. Iran stated that it is responding with retaliatory attacks using missiles and drones targeting Israel and American interests in the region.
