
Muscat — The Environment Authority of Oman announced that it is closely monitoring developments related to the fire incident in fuel tanks at Salalah Port, confirming that air quality levels in the Wilayat of Salalah remain within safe limits.
The authority said residents can follow live air-quality readings through the Naqi application, noting that further clarifications will be issued if necessary.
As a precautionary measure, the authority advised residents in areas near the accident site to wear masks, close windows, move patients with breathing difficulties to suitable locations, and follow updates through official sources.
